SHANNON BEDINGER LAUNCHES BOUTIQUE MARKETING FIRM

HOUSTON –  Shannon Bedinger, who has more than two decades of marketing and communications experience within the commercial real estate sector, is launching a Houston-based boutique marketing and consulting firm, 7 Rivers Marketing + Consulting.

A commercial real estate veteran, Bedinger has a strong background in media relations, media buying, corporate brand development, and marketing strategy. She most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of Parkway, where she was responsible for overseeing the national communication plan as well as all marketing channels for global clientele. Bedinger spearheaded content direction for key executives and led strategic initiatives for high-end development projects and annual brand planning processes.

Bedinger is offering independent Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) consulting services, leveraging her 20 years of commercial real estate marketing and communications experience for corporations and development projects across the U.S.

“Commercial real estate marketing is a niche field, and that provides a great opportunity for a new nimble boutique advisory firm in this space,” Bedinger said in a statement. “This is the right moment to strike out on my own. I couldn’t be more excited to continue working with real estate owners and investors throughout the U.S. and corporations looking for some horsepower on their teams. I have my eye on some incredible global projects that are moving the needle on sustainability and setting the bar for trends to follow in the U.S. I look forward to partnering with new and existing clients across the globe.”

Bedinger’s career achievements stem from her ability to manage with creativity and collaboration. She is results-driven, innovative and articulate, adaptable, and able to lead a team to success.

Bedinger offers extensive industry experience, starting her career as an architect before working at brokerage and development firms and transitioning to marketing. Her love for the discipline ultimately drew her to her first role in commercial real estate with Transwestern in 2007.

Highly involved in the national and Houston real estate community, Bedinger currently serves on the Urban Land Institute’s Houston Management Committee, the national NEXT Marketing Committee and the Urban Land Institute’s National Marketing Forum.  Bedinger also recently finalized a position on the Alumni Association Board for The University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design. She has also served on committees for NAIOP and the Design Alliance.

Most recently, Bedinger received national and local accolades including GlobeSt.’s 2023 Women of Influence Award, Houston Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business, and Bisnow Houston’s 2023 Women Leading Real Estate Award.

Bedinger’s additional professional recognitions range from Society for Marketing and Professional Services’ “Best in Show” to five-time American Marketing Association Crystal Awards Finalist, and Gold Recipient-Hermes Creative Award to numerous company-wide awards from previous employers.
